Millions of Indian farmers may soon have good news. This month is probably going to see the release of the 20th payment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme (PM-Kisan). The next Rs 2,000 installment may be transferred straight to the bank accounts of qualified farmers on or around June 20, according to reports, though the exact date has not yet been verified.
Recent Update:
Only farmers who have finished registering will receive funds under this program, according to a recent announcement from the central government. Therefore, only farmers who have previously enrolled will receive the twentieth installment. However, a large number of farmers have yet to finish their registration. Only 35,429 of the 66,900 eligible farmers in one tehsil area had registered. This next installment may not reach about 30,580 farmers.

To receive benefits under PM-Kisan and other farming schemes, the government has made farmer registration mandatory. However, nearly 47% of farmers in some regions have still not enrolled.
Farmers can register through the official website, the “Kisan Registry UP” mobile app, or by visiting any public service center (Jan Seva Kendra). To complete the registration, farmers must provide their Aadhaar card and land record number (Gata number). Village assistants, Lekhpals, agricultural aides, and female farm laborers can also help farmers with the registration process.
PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme:
Eligible farmers in India receive Rs 6,000 annually through the PM-Kisan scheme. Every four months, the money is transferred in three installments of Rs 2,000.
