Iran Sends 100 Drones After Khamenei’s Warning to Israel

Khamenei’s Warning to Israel: Iran responded after Israel launched deadly airstrikes on Friday, targeting multiple sites across the Islamic Republic, including military and nuclear facilities. In retaliation, Iran fired over 100 drones toward Israel, according to the Israeli military, which reported actively trying to shoot them down.

“We are intercepting around 100 UAVs that Iran launched toward Israeli territory,” said Brigadier General Effie Defrin, the Israeli military spokesperson. He added that 200 Israeli fighter jets struck about 100 targets across Iran during the counterattacks. Iran’s armed forces warned that their military retaliation against Israel would have “no limits.” The general staff declared in a statement, “Now that the terrorist regime occupying Al-Quds (Jerusalem) has crossed all red lines, we will respond to this crime without any restrictions.”

Khamenei’s Warning

A “strong response” to Israeli aggression was what Iran had promised. The strikes that killed two senior military commanders and top nuclear experts in Iran will have serious repercussions for the Jewish state, according to Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. “With this crime, the Zionist regime has set itself for a bitter and painful fate, and it will receive it,” Khamenei stated in a statement.

Two Nuclear Scientists Died:

Israel launched strikes across Iran, killing senior Revolutionary Guards commander Gholam Ali Rashid and armed forces chief of staff Mohammad Bagheri, according to Iranian state television. The Tasnim news agency reported that Israeli forces also targeted and killed two nuclear scientists, Fereydoun Abbasi and Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi.

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei vowed “severe punishment” for Israel’s actions. He said, “By attacking residential areas, Israel has revealed its true malicious nature more than ever and committed a wicked, blood-stained crime in our beloved country.” Tehran claimed that the Israeli attacks killed numerous civilians, including women and children. Mojtaba Khaledi, spokesperson for Iran’s national emergency services, stated that the strikes injured at least 95 people and that medical teams had transferred them to hospitals in 12 affected provinces.
