Sathyaraj Counters Pawan Kalyan: Veteran Tamil actor Sathyaraj has issued a strong statement countering political moves made in the name of religion. Speaking at a public meeting organized by the Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) party, the actor made his position clear, drawing a line against what he sees as an attempt to manipulate Tamil sentiments.

Referring to the recent Murugan Mahanadu event and indirectly countering statements made by Jana Sena chief and actor-politician Pawan Kalyan, Sathyaraj said, “We will not tolerate politics in Tamil Nadu in the name of god.” He emphasized that the people of Tamil Nadu are deeply rooted in rationalist ideals, inspired by the principles of Periyar. “You cannot deceive us who believe in Periyar’s values,” he asserted, receiving loud applause from the gathering.

The actor warned that any effort to use religious sentiments for political gain would fail in Tamil Nadu. “If you think you can fool us with Murugan Mahanadu, then you’re only fooling yourself. Tamil people are intelligent, and your tricks won’t work here,” he declared.
