Charlie Kirk: Charlie Kirk, a well-known American conservative activist and ardent supporter of President Donald Trump, was shot and killed on Wednesday during an event at Utah Valley University (UVU). Social media users shared a video of the incident that showed Kirk addressing a sizable gathering outside when a loud crack, a gunshot, was heard. Attendees fled as Kirk grabbed his neck for a moment before he fell out of his chair. His age was thirty-one.

As the first of at least 15 planned appearances at colleges throughout the nation as part of his “American Comeback Tour,” Kirk was on a speaking engagement at UVU. He was receiving questions from an audience outside while seated at his “Prove Me Wrong” debate table prior to the incident. According to videos, Kirk was arguing with a kid about transgender individuals and mass shootings before he was shot.

“Over the past ten years, how many transgender Americans have committed mass shootings?” They asked Kirk. Kirk replied, “Too many,” as the audience applauded. “Are you aware of the number of mass shootings that have occurred in the United States in the past ten years?” “Counting or not counting gang violence?” Kirk asked.
