Vijay Thalapathy: Days after actor-politician Vijay led a stampede at a rally that claimed 41 lives, including two children, the leader of the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) challenged Chief Minister MK Stalin, urging him to do whatever he wanted if he desired retribution but not to target his party members. As he assured his fans that their political adventure would continue with more strength and bravery, he stated that he would either be at home or in the office.
Actor Vijay stated in a video message two days after the Karur tragedy, which claimed 41 lives, “CM sir, if you want to take revenge, do whatever you can, but do not touch my party men. I will be in the office or at home. Do what you can for me.”

“Colleagues and friends, we will continue our political journey with even greater courage and strength.” Speaking about his hasty departure for Trichy airport following the stampede and his failure to see the victims of the incident, Vijay further warned that his presence might create an “unusual situation.” He further asserted that he hurried out of Karur with the safety of the populace in mind.

The well-known actor requested that the truth surrounding the stampede be revealed immediately, stating that he had never experienced such a “painful situation” in his life. Additionally, he made a suggestion that he is prepared for action. “I didn’t go to Karur because it would create an unusual situation,” he stated.
