Congress Leader V. Hanumantha Rao Falls Down at BC Rally


Congress Leader Hanumantha Rao: BC groups have called for a Telangana-wide bandh demanding the legalization of Backward Classes (BC) reservations, particularly in the Amberpet area of Hyderabad. The Congress party has extended its full support, and several other parties have backed the bandh as well.

In this context, the Congress organized a large rally in Amberpet.


Congress Leader Hanumantha Rao in BC Rally:

Senior leader V. Hanumantha Rao, MLA Danam Nagender, DCC president Rohin Reddy, other party leaders, and numerous activists took part. The rally moved from the Phule statue to Patel Nagar, with participants holding banners and placards and chanting slogans. Messages like “BC reservations should be legalized” and “Central government should pass the BC bill” were prominently displayed.

During the rally, a banner accidentally obstructed the path, causing V. Hanumantha Rao to fall. People around him responded immediately, and BRS activists helped lift him. Despite this minor incident, the rally continued without interruption.

According to the sources, Hanumantha Rao is safe and did not suffer any serious injuries. It is said that immediate help has saved him from any grievous injuries. After this incident, Hanumantha Rao has focused on the protest and participated in the BC Reservation struggle.
