Bypoll Election Counting Begins: The counting of votes for the Jubilee Hills by-election has officially begun. The process started with the counting of postal ballots, and staff members were seen opening the paper ballot boxes. A total of 101 postal ballots were cast through the home-voting facility, used by elderly and disabled voters.
Postal Ballot Counting First
Officials confirmed that 109 postal ballots were registered, out of which 103 votes were cast. Postal ballots are being counted first, and the counting of EVM votes will begin soon after. Candidates and their agents from major political parties have already reached the counting area. The entire counting process is being supervised by District Election Officer RV Karnan and By-election Returning Officer Sairam.
Candidates Arrive at Counting Centre
Key candidates, including Maganti Sunitha, Naveen Yadav, and Lankala Deepak, have reached the Kotla Vijayabhaskar Reddy Indoor Stadium, where counting is underway. Before arriving at the centre, many candidates performed special prayers at various temples. Congress candidate Naveen Yadav visited the Yellamma Temple in Balkampet, while Maganti Sunitha offered prayers at the Madhapur Subrahmanya Temple.
Naveen Yadav Confident of Victory
Speaking to the media, Naveen Yadav said he is confident of winning with a good majority. He added that people in Jubilee Hills have supported development-focused leadership. He also commented that, while former members left BRS, many strong leaders have joined their party.

The total voter turnout in the Jubilee Hills by-election stood at 48.49%, with 1,94,631 votes cast. Below is the division-wise polling percentage and number of votes:
– Borabanda: 55.92% – 29,760 votes
– Rahmatnagar: 54.59% – 40,610 votes
– Erragadda: 49.55% – 29,112 votes
– Vengalrao Nagar: 47.00% – 25,195 votes
– Shakepet: 43.87% – 31,182 votes
– Yusufguda: 43.47% – 24,219 votes
