Bypoll Election First Round Results: The first round of counting in the Jubilee Hills by-election has concluded, with the Congress Party securing 8,926 votes, while the BRS received 8,864 votes. Congress now holds a narrow lead of 62 votes. As counting progressed, Congress maintained its lead in both the first and second rounds, with party candidate Naveen Yadav continuing to stay ahead. Looking at the development, the second round is also concluding with Naveen Yadav’s victory.

Minister Srihari About Congress Victory: 
Speaking to the media, Minister Srihari said that the early lead reflects the trust the people of Jubilee Hills have placed in the Congress Party. He stated that the voters chose Congress to ensure development in the constituency. Srihari strongly criticised the BRS, saying the party was given three full terms but still failed to develop Jubilee Hills. He alleged that BRS leaders are now making baseless comments after losing power and failing to protect their sitting seats.

“We Did Not Tempt Voters Like BRS Did”
The minister added that, unlike BRS, Congress did not lure voters with money or alcohol. According to him, people have simple expectations, but even those basic needs were ignored for ten years under the BRS rule. Srihari said the Congress campaign focused on explaining the government’s welfare schemes to the people, and voters responded positively.

Promises to Fulfill Development Goals:
He assured that the Congress government will fulfill all promises made to the people of Jubilee Hills, including development works and welfare support.

Congress Strengthens Lead:
With Congress leading in the first two rounds, the momentum continues to favour Naveen Yadav, who has maintained his lead as more rounds progress.
