Nitish Kumar CM Oath: Days after the NDA won the assembly elections handily, JD(U) chief Nitish Kumar is scheduled to take the oath of office as Bihar Chief Minister for a record 10th time on Thursday under strict security. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and a number of senior NDA leaders are anticipated to attend the swearing-in ceremony in Patna’s historic Gandhi Maidan, which is currently in the last stages of preparation. More than three lakh people are expected to attend the event, and extensive security measures have been implemented.
It is anticipated that 16 BJP ministers and 14 JD(U) ministers, including the party president, will make up the new Bihar Cabinet. The JD(U) state chief who won the Mahnar assembly seat, Umesh Singh Kushwaha, is probably going to be appointed to the next Cabinet.
It’s interesting to note that Nitish Kumar will serve as chief minister for a record-breaking tenth time. Check out the list of chief ministers serving numerous terms in various Indian states in the interim.
