Nitish Kumar Cabinet List 2025: JDU president Nitish Kumar on Thursday (November 20) was sworn in as the chief minister of Bihar for a record 10th time at the Gandhi Maidan in Patna. He received the oath of office and secrecy from Governor Arif Mohammed Khan. Kumar swore allegiance to the Indian Constitution. He was sworn in as a Bihar minister along with twenty-six other MLAs. The swearing-in ceremony was attended by BJP national president JP Nadda, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and a number of other senior NDA politicians. The chief ministers of numerous states ruled by the NDA attended the ceremony.

Ministerial Division For All Alliance Parties:
At Patna’s Gandhi Maidan, 27 politicians, including Vijay Kumar Sinha, Samrat Choudhary, and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, took an oath. Except for the Chief Minister, the BJP and JD(U) received 14 and 8 ministerial seats, respectively, among the major NDA constituents. Furthermore, the Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) (HAM(S)) and Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) each received one seat, while Chirag Paswan’s Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) received two seats.

The state legislative council has at least three recently ordained speakers. They include Santosh Kumar Suman, the head of the Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular), state BJP president Dilip Jaiswal, and Ashok Choudhary, national general secretary of the JD(U) and a close and reliable assistant to the chief minister.

Award-winning shooter Shreyasi Singh, who won from Jamui for a second term in a row, has joined the cabinet for the first time. Additionally entered is Rama Nishad, the wife of former Muzaffarpur MP Ajay Nishad, who joined the BJP at the height of the election campaign and won Aurai. Bijendra Prasad Yadav, a nine-term MLA and seasoned JD(U) leader, has also rejoined the government.
