CM Chandrababu meets Chief Justice:

On May 13, 2025, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu met with Chief Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur at the High Court in Amaravati. The meeting, held at the residence of the Chief Justice in Vijayawada, focused on several key issues related to the state’s judiciary.

During the meeting, CM Chandrababu presented the designs for the new High Court building to Chief Justice Thakur. This was part of an ongoing effort to improve the state’s judicial infrastructure. The Chief Minister also asked for suggestions and recommendations regarding the construction of the new High Court building in Amaravati.

The meeting also covered the establishment of a High Court bench in Kurnool, an important matter for ensuring better access to justice for people in the region. Both leaders discussed various aspects related to the bench’s formation, with the Chief Minister highlighting its significance.

Another crucial topic discussed was the appointment of the Chairman for the Andhra Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA). The Chief Minister informed the Chief Justice that Sivareddy would be appointed as the new Chairman for the position, pending approval from the Chief Justice’s panel.

This meeting was part of the ongoing efforts by the Andhra Pradesh government to strengthen the judiciary and ensure efficient functioning of legal institutions across the state. It also highlighted the state’s commitment to improving its infrastructure and regulatory bodies, which are crucial for the development of both the real estate sector and the judicial system.
