Who Will Rule Bihar? Just Hours Left to Find Out

Bihar Assembly Elections Results: Voting in the highly anticipated Bihar Assembly election started at 8 a.m. today, marking its crucial turning point. The counting of postal ballots, which was predicted to be finished in the first half hour, marked the start of the process. The state now waits to see who will ascend to power and who will fall after a fiercely contested political contest.

The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance) are the two political groupings, both of which have shown great optimism as the counting continues. BJP leaders claim that the populace has rejected the Mahagathbandhan and that the democratic challenge posed by Tejashwi Yadav and Rahul Gandhi has waned, whereas the JD(U) has stated that voters have supported the “good governance” they provided. Some BJP leaders even anticipate celebrations at the party offices in Patna and Delhi by noon.

On the other hand, Mahagathbandhan leaders like Pappu Yadav maintain that public support is firmly on their side and that there is a lot of anti-NDA sentiment throughout the state.

Exit polls point to an NDA lead:
With no exit poll predicting a clear majority for the Mahagathbandhan, most of those published before the vote count indicated a comfortable victory for the NDA. Although several surveys predict the RJD to be the single largest party, they don’t anticipate the coalition establishing the government. Surprisingly, 34–37% of respondents would rather have Tejashwi Yadav as the next Chief Minister.

According to several polls, it is unlikely that Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj Party will have a significant influence.

Axis My India anticipates a close battle:
The Most Recent Axis My exit survey in India points to a close competition. According to the prediction, the NDA will receive 43% of the vote and the Mahagathbandhan 41%. According to polls, women tend to support the NDA, while men are more inclined to favor the opposition coalition. The NDA is also ahead in urban and rural trends, despite the majority of students and jobless young people supporting the Mahagathbandhan. All exit polls have been refuted by Tejashwi Yadav, who claims that they are unreliable.

A large turnout increases expectations:
The NDA asserts that the voters have overwhelmingly supported their administration, while the Mahagathbandhan contends that the higher voter turnout indicates a desire for change. Bihar prepares for a judgment that might either support or contradict the predictions as the counting continues.
